Partnering with Kenzo Security

Building the system security teams actually need

Every security team today is trying to figure out how to make AI actually useful. A lot of startups have rushed in with quick fixes, typically wrapping generic AI agents from OpenAI, Anthropic or Gemini around basic alert triage. But these tools aren’t built for the depth or nuance that real security operations teams need.

With Kenzo Security, Harish Singh and Partha Naidu have built a platform (not a chatbot) that goes way beyond alert triage. At the core of Kenzo’s platform is a multi-agent AI architecture, where a network of specialized agents work in parallel on the core functions of security operations. These agents coordinate through a proprietary data mesh that allows for deep context and minimal noise, without sacrificing depth or precision. It’s designed to help security teams move faster and make better decisions—across detection tuning, threat hunting, investigation and response.

Why we partnered

We met Harish through our Talent team and were immediately drawn in by his clarity and conviction, all informed by his technical domain experience. Harish is a repeat founder who was previously a founding engineer at Lacework and E8 Security, where he built the underlying technology that redefined cloud detection. His co-founder, Partha Naidu, is a former U.S. Air Force cyber operations leader who also shaped product at both Data Dog and Crowdstrike. With deep experience across the security stack, they had a sharp point of view on what wasn’t working.

While we backed Kenzo’s $4.5M seed with capital, we also supported the team with sweat equity across:

  • Go-to-market: We collaborated on positioning and made connections to early CISOs

  • Talent: We advised on early engineering org design, as well as supported key engineering hires, including a Principal Engineer

  • Product: Our product team pressure tested use cases and system design

AI’s impact on security operations is inevitable, and there’s no shortage of AI security startups right now. But most are either too narrow or too abstract to deliver real value, with only a few teams thinking about it with the right technical foundation and product mindset. Harish and Partha are building a platform that’s grounded in how real security teams work and need to evolve, because they’ve led those teams. We’re proud to be early partners building alongside them.
